In a move to provide an interactive and engaging customer experience, German fashion brand s.Oliver has turned to digital signage touchscreen technologies to innovate its brick-and-mortar retail spaces.

s.Oliver's new store concept combines digitalization and inspiration. The warm, inviting ambience and a high-quality presentation of goods with indirect lighting perfectly sets the scene for the fashionable styles. Service offerings such as large format displays, digital service points or mobile iPad cash registers make shopping a breeze and allure to experience the world of s.Oliver with all senses. The new stores also provide the popular omnichannel services ensuring an optimal choice and product availability for the customer anytime. This way fashion advisors can conveniently order items unavailable in the store via the online shop and have them delivered to a branch of the customers' choice or directly to their home.

  • Innovating an entirely new, aesthetically pleasing point of sale and retail space.

  • Customized interactive touchscreen apps that increase engagement.

  • 55'' PCAP touchscreen table to entice consumers into retail spaces.

  • Intuitive user interface providing retails services including online catalogue browsing.

The touchscreen solution, of which all software, hardware, cloud architecture and technologies used were developed and provided by eyefactive. The goal was to create a unique, modern, and memorable customer experience through the use of interactive touchscreen tables, redefining the traditional, and increasingly outdated in-store concept, minimising stock, and overhauling how a modern retail store can operate.

On the interactive surface, consumers can access several apps to help them shop for all their favourite brands, as well as display information on available in-store and online services and view promotional offers. Users can also access the s.Oliver website. There is even an AirHockey game where four players can simultaneously play against one another.

The interactive user interface is designed and organised in a simple tile windowed format, making it easy for customers to navigate effortlessly.

With a fresh new look, the interactive communication tables have been installed in German stores throughout 2022, including Frankfurt, Cologne, Mannheim and Hamburg.
